On 16 September, the Humanitarians team attended an interactive panel discussion on entrepreneurship in healthcare to learn more about the opportunities for entrepreneurial solutions, routes to scale, and practical lessons from entrepreneurs who have made a positive impact in delivering healthcare. The event coincided with the PwC 2014 Vision to Reality Awards, and the SA Innovation Summit. It is vital as an organisation and entity to always educate ourselves and gain skills so that we can disseminate it towards our team and more importantly towards the communities we engage with.
It was a most informative evening and we were able to meet potential partners and engaged with a variety of professionals. We will continue to attend events such as these to keep ahead and help provide more to our communities and organisation.
