As part of our organisation’s mission statement, the team constantly seeks ways to engage and network with different communities and individuals in hopes to create aware, educate and collaborate with others. On Saturday, 27th August, the Humanitarians attended the South African Innovation Summit that was geared towards showcasing sustainable and innovative ways of living.
The event was held at the Cape Town Stadium and consisted of exhibits focusing on mostly sustainable living from recyclables as well as innovative ways of living in South Africa. The focus however was on addressing the electricity problem in South Africa as well as technology being the forefront on making life easier. Overall, the team was able to engage with different stake holders as well generate ideas of how to take certain activities into the communities that we work with.
